Privacy Policy
Quill respects your privacy.
Quill does not collect, track, or sell personal data. All content you create in the app is stored privately in your own iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit service.
The developer does not have access to your entries or their contents. Data storage and syncing are handled entirely by Apple under your iCloud account.
Quill has no accounts and no sign-in. Syncing uses the iCloud account already present on your device, so there is nothing to create and no name or email address for Quill to collect or store.
Quill 1.0.6 and earlier used Sign in with Apple. Those versions received a unique identifier from Apple and stored it on the device; your name and email address were never sent to the developer. Sign-in has since been removed entirely.
You may delete your data at any time by deleting entries within the app. Data stored in iCloud is managed under your Apple ID and may also be removed by managing iCloud storage in your device settings.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
